A Fun, Safe Place to Learn About Jesus

We believe that you are never too young to experience the love of God! Our Children's Ministry is designed to bring the Bible to life for your little ones in a fun, engaging, and completely safe environment. Through interactive lessons, lively music, and creative activities, we help build a strong spiritual foundation that will last a lifetime.

From our dynamic Sunday teachings to our highly anticipated Summer Kids Camp and Vacation Bible School (VBS), your children will look forward to coming to church just as much as you do!

Youth Ministry

Empowering the Next Generation

We love our young people! We don't just see them as the "church of tomorrow"—they are the church of today. We are passionate about helping our youth discover their hidden talents, blazing potential, and God-given purpose. We believe that the future of our faith lies in the hands of this generation, and we are committed to providing a safe, fun, and biblically grounded environment for them to thrive.

Prayer Ministry

The Beating Heart of Our Church

We firmly believe in the power of prayer. Our prayer team is the very heartbeat of Church on the Avenue, standing in the gap for our church family, our community, and our world. You do not have to carry your burdens alone.

Whether you need someone to pray with you, or you have a passion for interceding on behalf of others, we invite you to join us.

Seniors & Elders Ministry

Seniors & Elders Ministry

Honoring Wisdom and Building Fellowship

Our seniors are a vital and treasured part of our church family. This ministry is dedicated to bringing hope, encouragement, and connection to our older generation. We believe our elders are full of profound wisdom and life experience that blesses our entire congregation. Join us for times of fellowship, spiritual growth, and mutual support as we honor those who have paved the way.

Music & Worship Arts

Music & Worship Arts

Connecting with God Through Song

Everybody loves great church music! Our worship team continuously strives to create a special, Spirit-led environment where our congregation can deeply connect with God through art, voice, and instrumentation.

We are growing! We are actively looking for passionate singers, musicians, and choir directors to help us elevate our worship experience. If you have a musical gift, we would love to have you on the team.

Community Service & Outreach

Community Service & Outreach

Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus

We are called to be the hands of Christ in the community we serve. At COTA, we take the command to "love your neighbor" very seriously. We are deeply committed to making a tangible impact in Queens, most notably through our Community Food Pantry Program.

We are always looking for compassionate volunteers and dedicated leaders to help us head up our community service events. If you have a heart for helping those in need, please reach out! We support a Food Pantry program providing food to feed hundreds every Saturday from 9 am to noon at 191-22 Jamaica Avenue. We are here for you.
